VISCERAL
by SANDRA MORAL
Flesh
Flesh explores the fragility, multiplicity, and transformation of the human body as a territory of identity and vulnerability. Fragments of nude bodies, mine and others’, are deconstructed and recombined into hybrid forms, continuously shifting between feminine, masculine, and undefined. The video challenges fixed notions of identity and traditional ideas of gender and corporeality, revealing beauty and pain in transformation and bodily exposure.
It is a space where the intimate becomes visible, where viewers confront their own perceptions of themselves and others, and where skin, scars, and bodies become a language of emotion, memory, and resilience.
