Red room - Legs

Red Room – Legs presents a monumental pair of legs, two meters tall, standing encircled by barbed wire. The body becomes both presence and obstacle, exposed yet contained, caught in a space of tension and constraint.

The barbed wire transforms the path around the legs into a territory of endurance, where movement is restricted and every step is marked by risk. The work reflects on the invisible forces that shape and discipline the body, turning appearance and presence into acts of negotiation and resistance.

The scale amplifies vulnerability and power simultaneously. The legs are at once monument, barrier, and witness — a silent testimony to the pressures that confine, shape, and observe us.
